WIP XI World Congress Budapest 2022 – Save the Date!

September 1, 2021

Dear WIP Friends,

The World Institute of Pain is excited to announce that our XI World Congress will be held in Budapest, Hungary, August 24-27th, 2022. Innovation and Change in Pain Management will be the theme of what is expected to be one of the best conferences in 2022. Our Congress will be led by current President Peter Staats, MD, PhD, FIPP. Dr. Staats brings to our congress a wealth of expertise and knowledge, and with the help of our scientific committee, we will provide the very best topics available on pain management. Our exhibit hall will also bring the best and brightest in new technologies, regenerative medicine, neuromodulation and chronic pain therapies. Our exhibitors are one of the reasons each Congress gets better every year.

The WIP began its mission in 1993 as a worldwide organization promoting interventional pain by bringing together some of the world’s best Clinicians. Since that time, we have educated physicians in every Country in the World. In 2001 WIP began its Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) Board of Examination, a physician certification program that requires both a theoretical and practical examination. We are proud that over 1,400 Physicians worldwide have completed this program.

Budapest is an extraordinary city that offers many surprises and much excitement. This Eastern European capital is full of arts, history, thermal pools, incredible markets, and home to some of the best restaurants in the world. If you’ve never visited, now is the time to plan; you do not want to miss this opportunity.

The health and safety of all participants is our primary concern and every effort will be taken to ensure that each person has the best experience. We look forward to getting back to seeing our worldwide friends and learning what’s new in the world of interventional pain.

Registration will be open soon for the XI WIP World Congress in Budapest. Keep an eye out for updates and information on our program. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you!

Best Regards,

Gabor B. Racz, MD, ABIPP, FIPP

Congress Chair
