Dr. Van Boxem is an anesthesiologist with a specialization in pain medicine, practicing at the multidisciplinary pain center of the Hospital East-Limburg in Genk/Lanaken, Belgium. He is a highly accomplished researcher, having authored more than 40 articles in PubMed-indexed journals. In addition to his clinical and research work, he serves as an associate editor for the journal Pain Practice, is an active member of international pain societies, and acts as an examiner for the European Diploma in Pain Medicine.
