Just one week to go until we gather in Mexico City for the 13th World Congress of the World Institute of Pain.
The wait is almost over, and we could not be more excited to bring our global community together under one roof. This week is all about finalizing your plans so you can make the absolute most of your conference experience.
As you pack your bags, here are a few quick tips for late summer in Mexico City:
- Plan for mild, comfortable days: Expect pleasant daytime temperatures around 20-23°C (68-73°F)—ideal for moving between sessions and exploring the city.
- Pack layers for the evening: Because of the city’s high altitude, temperatures drop nicely after sunset down to around 12-14°C (53-57°F), so bring a jacket or light sweater.
- Keep an umbrella or light rain jacket handy: Brief afternoon or early evening rain showers are common this time of year, though they clear up quickly.
Make sure to double-check your travel itinerary, complete your online registration, and review the online schedule to map out the lectures, workshops, and networking sessions you want to attend.
Safe travels to everyone making the journey to Mexico. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Hilton Mexico City Reforma! If you haven’t registered yet, we recommend you do it today: https://wipcongress.com/registration/
